![]() ![]() I was lucky enough to have a Cummins dealer send me a CMB, from the future, that is also a 1.0.1 that has now come out of the Cateoria. All you have to get with the newer units is an insite dongle, the ECM, the wiring, and a laptopĪ:From the comments on page 1, it seems that there is a Dxe that has not been released to Cummins, they prefer Insite, or the Cummins 1.0.1 that came out a few years ago. ![]() The newer ECMs that use the PID with Direct axis are smart, they know how good a calibration is and will set up the PID parameters once. If there is no database, let it calibrate and see what happens. With the new ECM style they no longer work and have been replaced by ECFGs. I believe there are some settings in the ECM for calibration,-At least for the Cummins units there is a large database of calibration from a local Cummins -E2M files. A:Because of changes in how ecm is wired for transfer (note the ECM is still a ECM with no differences to the upload data), as well as an ft switch in the ECM itself, that there is no longer a transfer of data from engine to ECM, there is no such thing as data upload or recieves from the engine to the ECM, the data comes in absolutley directly from the DIC. ![]()
